Hello, I am Evşen, daughter of Hikmet and Nedim Ayçiçek. I was born in Zonguldak in 1993. Long-term conversations at family breakfasts and crowded dinners; philosophical, psychological, sociological, religious and etymological research; The nature of Zonguldak and the fact that I grew up in a neighborhood far from traffic, I love play, movement and nature; Thanks to my beloved primary school teacher Mehmet Türkçelik's reading of meditation stories accompanied by classical music and many other contributions, I see that my curiosity, which has expanded into the field of awareness and expression, has strong roots.

In 2015, I was introduced to Ashtanga yoga thanks to Tanya Oruçoğlu and attended beginner Ashtanga practices for two years. During my extra year at university, I started working at the Association for Assistance and Solidarity with Refugees and Asylum Seekers, where I worked to raise awareness about children's rights and access to education in Turkey.

In 2017, I attended the Basic Hatha Yoga Teacher Training of Çetin Çetintaş and Serra Sagra. As someone who has not practiced anything other than Ashtanga for 2 years, many asanas such as hand postures and bakasana were a first for me and I was in teacher training :) I worked as an English teacher in various private schools. In 2019, I completed Tuğçe İnam and Yiğit Zırtlıoğlu's Basic Hatha Yoga Instructor Training . I gave yoga lessons at YogaEkiz Nişantaşı, Piyoga Studio and Yogalayoga studios.

During the lockdown period, I became a student of Inner Dimension TV and continued to give my yoga classes online. In 2021, I started being a Dharma student with the Compassion trainings I started with Sema Demirkan. I have been in Berrak Yurdakul and Sema Demirkan's Dharma groups since 2021, and I regularly attend trainings. I resigned from teaching. I lived in a climbing camp in Geyikbayırı for 4 months to spend more time in its magnificent nature. I started rock climbing here, it was impossible not to feel passionate about it, but I did not continue because I thought it was not a sport suitable for my body in the long term due to my shoulder deformity.

To learn Buddhism closely, I had the opportunity to stay at the Nalanda Monastery in France for 2 months and at the Vajra Yogini Institute for 2 days. I am grateful for life's generosity and unlimited support.

Together with my friend Selen Çelik, we traveled to Ubud, Bali, where we met Hindu culture and attended inspiring classes of world-famous yoga instructors. Byron de Marse's Power Yoga; I was inspired by Chocolako Agburu's Womb Wisdom and Yin Yoga and Carlos Romero's Vinyasa Yoga classes.

I founded my own studio in January 2024. At Yum Yoga Studio , I give yoga and meditation programs to private groups and host various workshops by blending my experiences, research and training. I am currently working as a translator at YSYD Non-Governmental Organization.

I love my questions and visions that I cannot silence no matter what I do.

I'm learning to keep my heart open when faced with the miracles and storms of my less-than-perfect life.
